Hi All,
My name is Stuart (aka LeftyFretz), as you may have guessed by my username I am a Left Handed Guitarist
I have been playing now on and off for a number of years but only recently have I taken up lessons.
My love for guitar come years ago when I heard Flying in a blue dream by Joe Satriani, but I have loved rock/metal music all my
life as I was bought up listening to Iron Maiden.
My current Influence comes from a pretty much unknown guitarist at the moment called Josh Middleton from a band called Sylosis. They are a heavy riffing band
but still manage to keep melodic instrumentals in there which are all too few and far between nowadays. If you are into metal have haven't heard
them I strongly suggest you give them a listen, you wont be disappointed.
I try to play as often as possible but as a father of 2 young boys I dont get as much time as I would like to, generally it's about 15 minutes in a day before my
darling youngest comes along randomly plucking at the strings on my behalf.
Anyway, thats a bit about me.
